Marshal Tucker and Blackberry Smoke were GREAT
I purchased VIP tickets and one of the original seats almost put me on the ground. After sitting in the pouring rain for an hour, Marshal Tucker and Blackberry Smoke were great openers but a thunder storm blew through. Mike with Live Nations got us settled into a much better VIP section and was on top of the situation. Hank Jr. and John Waite decided not to play, and the rest of the concert was canceled. The Live Nation team were great. My grandson said he just wanted to hear them play Free Bird LIVE. These were expensive tickets and I know none of us can control the weather. I am waiting to see if it will be rescheduled or a refund for the tickets will be issued. I told my grandson this will be one of those tales that he can share with his grandkids.
